John Thrasher - Seattle Touch Down Yell
Traveling with the US Army medical command as adjutant, John Thrasher's biggest fear was crashing in a helicopter, because he had known several people who had. After three years in Germany and one in Vietnam, he returned home, and recalls the exuberant cheers from within the aircraft when they touched down in Seattle.
