Bachelor's degree in radio/TV/film, communications, journalism, or other equivalent degree plus 2 years of experience in the field of broadcast television production.
Responsibilities
Responsible for producing audio and video materials to support WFSU projects and programming requirements. Developing ideas and create concepts individually or as part of a group, building budgets and schedules, gathering production teams from in-house or external sources. Leading production and post-production activities, preparing master segments for duplication and distribution.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency and five years experience.
Requirements: Must be familiar with local, state, and national policies, particularly political figures and issues; up-to-date on current events in the community and state; and able to identify what information and stories are/would be important to Florida Public Radio/WFSU-FM listeners. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and organize work assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of applicable computer software and basic computer functions, and familiar with various search engines and database sources for news. Must be able to organize research to present it to the reporter in a timely manner.
SRAS: This position is funded by Sponsored Research Accounting Services
Time Limited: This position is Time Limited
Responsibilities: Conducts research and maintains database information on potential news stories for all reporters. Sets up interviews and provides fact sheets for reporters in story development. Assists in the production of local and statewide news programs providing information, setting up guests, and answering telephones for live call-in programs.
Pay Plan: This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position. Preference will be given to eligible veterans and their spouses with proper documentation (applicants must submit a copy of their DD214 with their online application).

OPS WFSU-TV Production/Operations Crew
WFSU-TV/4FSU has occasional openings for people with television production or operations experience. These are TEMPORARY positions, and may be either part or full time. Hours vary depending on production requirements. Students interested in television production are encouraged to apply as well as individuals with experience in studio or field production. There are also occasional openings in the operations department as part of the master control staff. This is shift work, may be primarily nights and/or weekends.
