WFSU-TV/FM, a University licensee, is seeking an experienced, high-energy individual to lead WFSU's Membership Department. Located in Florida's capital city, WFSU-TV is celebrating its 50th broadcast year.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Membership Director supervises a 4-person support staff, and will plan, implement and administer all member and donor relations, including: on-air fundraising campaigns, direct-mail appeals, database management, membership services, web-based fundraising and marketing for both public radio and television.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-years experience in membership or development, with preference given to those who have experience working in public broadcasting or in other member-based organizations. Proficiency with computers and membership management software is essential. Excellent speaking and writing skills and the ability to set and meet realistic goals, establish work priorities, organize people and materials to reach goals and evaluate and report results are required. The candidate should have a B.A. in business, communications, marketing or a related field. Appropriate directly-related experience may substitute for a degree.
