Tucked away off of the newly renovated Gaines Street in Tallahassee, Florida, a professor and his students have taken matters into their own hands. Florida State University Art Professor Paul Rutkovsky and his students have turned two run down alleys into environmentally friendly routes, fully equipped with an organic garden, seating and lighting, and environmental art. The group aims to help the economic rejuvenation of the Gaines Street Corridor by beautifying the walkways and granting easy access to Railroad Square.
