A special back to school event is planned for September 27th across the country to encourage students to commit to excellence and finishing their education. In Tallahassee, Griffin Middle School will be participating. Principal Gwendolyn Thomas and FAMU Associate Professor Roselyn Williams talk about the event. The HistoryMakers program is the nation’s largest African-American video oral history archive.
