The State Archives of Florida is asking for your help to preserve the state’s history. Archivist Johnathan Grandage talks about two special events coming up to encourage people to donate some of their old photographs. On Friday, October 11th, the Archives will have a special slideshow presentation of newly acquired photos to their online collection. Then, on Saturday, October 12, the Archives will hold a special “Scan Day” for people to bring in some of their old photos to be scanned into the state’s collection. For more information about the event or to see the collection, go to www.floridamemory.com.
