Image Credit: Jacksonville Public Education FundThe core mission of the American Graduate Tallahassee initiative is to help our local community find solutions to address the dropout crisis. Individuals and local organizations can do a lot to support kids and keep them on the path to high school graduation. Here are a few things you can do to make a difference:

  • Mentor a student or provide internship/job shadowing opportunities for youth.
  • Make a donation, become a business partner or conduct a supply drive to benefit a school or youth program.
  • Draw attention to the dropout crisis by writing an OPED letter to the newspaper or local media outlet.
  • Be familiar with local education initiatives.

There are many opportunities for residents of the Tallahassee area to volunteer with local youth. View our list of partners below to explore your volunteering options.
