Take WFSU's Summer Challenge to Keep Learning This Summer

It's time for the 2016 WFSU Summer Challenge! We want your entire family to get excited about summer learning, so we've created a super-fun online, offline, interactive, hands-on scavenger hunt for kids and parents to do together. Register below to receive your WFSU Summer Challenge checklist, and get ready to play, create, share, and celebrate the fun of learning with WFSU and PBS KIDS!

Summer Challenge 2015 logo  Register below to receive your WFSU Summer Challenge Check List, and get ready to play, create, share and celebrate the fun of learning with WFSU and PBS KIDS! Most of the activities involve a social media element—be sure to use the hashtag #wfsusummerchallenge, so we can follow along with your progress! Don’t have a facebook or Instagram? Simply email us the photos instead!**Note: You do not have to show your child’s face. You can show their silhouette, a back shot, or just their hands holding a craft, etc. If you have reached a minimum of 50 points by the end of the Challenge, WFSU will be awarding each family with a special prize bag filled with assorted WFSU and PBS Kids books and goodies. WFSU will be awarding even more prizes for any additiona points your family accumulates. The highest-scoring family will receive special on-air recognition. When your family has completed the checklist, sign the last page and email a picture of it to rpiers@fsu.edu. The challenge is designed for children and adults to complete together. Registration

After you register for the WFSU Summer Challenge you will be emailed the checklist so that you can begin. Supporting materials will be available for pickup beginning June 4th at the Summer Challenge Kick Off and locations mentioned in the checklist. If you register before then, feel free to complete any of the activities that do not require supporting materials.

If you are having trouble accessing any of the WFSU Summer Challenge materials (Panama City area, for example), please send us a message and we will work with you to make accommodations.

 

When You've Completed the Challenge

You must earn 50 points to complete the WFSU Summer Challenge. When your family has completed the checklist, sign the first page and email a picture of it to rpiers@fsu.edu.

 

Prize Bags

Each qualifying participant will receive an email containing details about prize bags when information becomes available.
