Clyde Timothy Bunkley v. State of Florida

Bunkley was sentenced to life imprisonment for burglarizing a closed, unoccupied restaurant. The jury was allowed to consider the fact that, at the time of his arrest, Bunkley had in his possession a pocket knife. He argued that this was improper, but the Second District Court disagreed.
