Facts: LeCroy was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder. He was sentencedto death for one of the murders. The convictions and death sentence were affirmed onappeal. LeCroy filed a motion to vacate his conviction and sentence, which motion thetrial court denied without evidentiary hearing. LeCroy also filed a petition for habeascorpus.
Claims: LeCroy argues, among numerous other matters, that the trial court should haveheld an evidentiary hearing on his postconviction claims; that he received ineffectiveassistance of counsel at his trial, at sentencing, and on appeal; that evidence waswithheld from him and the court at his trial; and that the conduct of his trial andsentencing denied him due process of law in numerous ways.
