Style: Zakrzewski v. State, No. 88,367

Facts: Zakrzewski was convicted by his pleas of guilty to three counts of first-degreemurder and was given three death sentences. The victims were appellant's wife andchildren. On appeal, appellant argues that the findings in support of the death sentencesare erroneous; that the jury's recommendation of a life sentence on one of the murdersshould have been followed; that improper evidence was admitted; that the jury wasimproperly instructed on mitigating circumstances; and that death sentences aredisproportionate to the crimes.

Issue: Whether the death sentences should be reversed.
