Summary:

Mr. Poole was convicted of the first-degree murder of Noah Scott, who was fatally beaten in his home in October 2001. Mr. Poole was condemned to death but this Court reversed the sentence on direct appeal and ordered a new penalty hearing. At the new hearing, the jury voted 11-1 to recommend a death sentence and the trial court condemned Mr. Poole again. This is his direct appeal of his second death sentence.
