Summary:

Mr. Taylor was sentenced to 22 years in prison on drug charges. This sentence was upheld on appeal and he filed a postconviction challenge in trial court. His sentencing claim was granted and he was resentenced to 15 years, but his other claims were denied. Mr. Taylor challenged the new sentence on appeal, but it was upheld. Mr. Taylor later sought to appeal the denial of his other postconviction claims, but the Fifth District Court of Appeal dismissed his appeal, ruling that it was not filed on time.
