Mr. Davis was convicted of the first-degree murders of Myosha Proby, Ravindra Basdeo and Carlos Jones, who were fatally shot in 2005. The jury voted 8-4 to recommend a death sentence for the murder of Ms. Proby and life prison terms for the other two murders. The trial court condemned Mr. Davis to death for the murder of Ms. Proby.
