Summary:

Mr. Conahan was convicted of the first-degree murder of Richard Montgomery, who was fatally strangled in 1996. The jury voted unanimously to recommend a death sentence and the trial court condemned him to death. This Court upheld the death sentence on direct appeal and Mr. Conahan filed a post-conviction challenge in trial court. It was denied and this appeal followed.
