By combining award-winning public television children's programs with a variety of community outreach efforts, WFSU is dedicated to assisting our local families in preparing their children for school.
Ready To Learn provides FREE, on-site training workshops to parents, childcare providers and teachers. Each workshop discusses utilizing PBS's educational programming with related books and fun activities. All participants receive informative handouts and children's books.
Local partners include the Leon County libraries, Leon, Gadsden & Jefferson County schools, Kids Inc. of the Big Bend, Florida Diagnostic Learning Resource Center (FDLRS), local Head Start programs and numerous childcare centers.
