Janis creates what many in the media have called "Music With a Mission": music projects which aim to advance important causes through music. It started in 1999, when Janis teamed up with the People's Princess Foundation to create a children's charity fundraising album to accompany the internationally touring exhibit of Princess Diana's Dresses. Then Janis teamed up with McCartney and Joel to create Music of Hope, a fundraising CD for the American Cancer Society.

The Tim Janis "An Enchanted Evening" Gold Edition CD & DVD each include the seventeen tracks from the program, plus additional bonus tracks. Each contains Tim's most popular instrumental music with warm, inspiring and uplifting vocals. Celtic sounds and epic orchestrations come together to create a sound-scape that transports one to a place of peace and joy. The Gold edition CD & DVD are exclusive to public television and are not available in stores.

"An Enchanted Evening" features the 18 piece Tim Janis Ensemble, popular recording artist Jim Cole, Ireland's own Flonnuals Gill and Grammy award winner Lisa Fischer performing against a spectacular star filled night.
